Mascot Truck Parts, SKC Karbon and WAIglobal have joined the Motor & Equipment Remanufacturers Association (MERA).

Mascot Truck Parts is based in Indiana. The company remanufactures transmissions, differentials, steering gears and pumps for heavy-duty vehicles.

SKC Karbon is located in Turkey, and produced remanufactured rotating electrical components.

WAIglobal is based in Pennsylvania, and remanufactures voltage regulators, rectifiers, test equipment, ignition distributors and other engine parts for various industries.

“Our mission is to advance the remanufacturing industry and the business interests of our members,” MERA says. “Our network of remanufacturers, suppliers and professional services firms — operating in the automotive and heavy-duty and off-road (HDOR) sectors — promotes the environmental, economic and product performance benefits of remanufactured goods.”
