McNeilus Truck introduces two replacement parts brands

McNeilus Truck and Manufacturing is repositioning its replacement parts business to offer two distinct options to the marketplace.

McNeilus says Street Smart Parts and McNeilus Genuine Parts will both offer quality parts, vehicle lifetime support, and 24/7/365 online ordering. The difference will be Street Smart Parts provides replacement parts designed to fit all makes and models of concrete mixers and refuse collection vehicles, and McNeilus Genuine Parts provides replacement parts specifically for McNeilus-manufactured vehicles.

McNeilus states its mission is to ensure it keeps customer fleets up and running. Both of these parts brands deliver on that goal, especially at a critical time when supply chain issues can mean that customers may seek to repair, rather than replace, their vehicles.

“Our customers need a partner that can help them keep their business running – without the middleman or the runaround – and they have that in McNeilus,” says Matt McLeish, vice president, sales and marketing, McNeilus Refuse Collection Vehicles.

“And they’re getting full lifecycle support, not just for the McNeilus trucks in their fleet but for their entire fleet, with our two replacement parts brands,” adds Peter Gallette, vice president, sales and marketing, McNeilus Mixer Platform.

McNeilus has re-established its Street Smart Parts brand as a dedicated source for competitor replacement parts manufactured and tested to meet or exceed OEM standards. The brand features a new logo and expanded offerings for replacement parts for all makes and models. Combined with McNeilus Genuine Parts, customers have a one-stop-shop, focused on supplying high-quality replacement parts that cover the needs of any fleet, no matter the makeup, the company says.

Additionally, the company says McNeilus Genuine Parts are OEM parts designed specifically for McNeilus products by a team of engineers focused solely on providing solutions for the concrete and refuse collection industries. All of these products are backed by the strength of the company's parent company, Oshkosh Corporation – with exclusive expertise in building severe-duty vehicles for some of the harshest environments.
