Paccar, Peterbilt honor top dealerships

Paccar Parts and Peterbilt Motors Company held the "Amplify Your Advantage" Parts and Service Meeting Aug. 7-9 in Nashville. At the meeting, they named the top dealers in their network.

"Peterbilt dealerships raise the bar on parts and service performance every year. Their consistence in the customer experience and commitment to quality assurance showcase their dedication to excellence," says Laura Bloch, Paccar vice president and Paccar Parts general manager. 

Award criteria was based on maximizing uptime, retail sales growth, parts purchase growth, Paccar MX engine technician staffing, and participation in customer support programs. 

These Peterbilt dealerships were honored: 

  • The Larson Group was named Fleet Services Dealer of the Year for their outstanding support of fleet customers and participation in the Paccar Parts Fleet Services program.

  • The Pete Store was named Technology Dealer of the Year for its use of several key Paccar Parts technology applications, including MDI and Paccar Parts' eCommerce program, Online Parts Counter.

  • Stahl Peterbilt is the Paccar Parts Uptime Dealer of the Year, which recognizes a dealer whose commitment to delivering service and parts programs has resulted in delivering industry-leading uptime to their customers. 

After the awards ceremony, dealers attended a series of 30 customized seminars designed to address industry trends across subjects such as electric vehicle opportunities, customer analytics, recruitment best practices and customer service excellence. There were also interactive workshops and networking opportunities with OEM and aftermarket suppliers. 

"It's always a great event when Paccar Parts, Peterbilt and the Peterbilt dealer network come together to discuss strategic initiatives and actions to further enhance the customer experience," says Matt Okerlund, Paccar Parts' senior national sales director for Peterbilt. "We look forward to putting our discussions into action over the next two years."
