Eaton Mobility Group added aftermarket Endurant automated manual transmission (AMT) parts and remanufactured units. This will allow the lineup to cover Daimler DT12 and Volvo I-Shift transmissions.

The products offered include genuine remanufactured units, gears, shafts, kits, electronics and components to remanufacture or repair Endurant heavy-duty transmissions. These parts will be distributed to independent aftermarket customers exclusively, the company says. The Eaton Cummins Joint Venture will maintain support for other distribution channels.
"The share of vehicles with AMTs in North America continues to grow and is poised to become the largest segment of transmission replacements in the industry," says Leandro Girardi, director of the aftermarket, Eaton Mobility Group. "With our expanding product portfolio, independent rebuilders can rely on Eaton for all their AMT service needs, backed by our standard aftermarket warranty."

Eaton will continue to partner with Crane Carrier Company and HME Parts to streamline availability for independent rebuilders.
In addition to Endurant parts, the Eaton Mobility Group also offers a comprehensive aftermarket portfolio for other popular automated manual transmissions, including the Detroit DT12 and Mack mDrive transmission. The company says it supplies more than 450 unique components, including gears, seals and bearings, designed to support the growing automated manual transmission market.
