Dayton Parts introduced a new medium-duty product line, bolstering its product portfolio Tuesday at Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week (HDAW) in Grapevine, Texas.
As fleets manage increasingly diverse vehicle lineups, Dayton states medium-duty has become a critical link between light- and heavy-duty operations, driving demand for reliable aftermarket solutions and positioning Dayton’s expansion as a natural next step.
The company says its new medium-duty line debuts with more than 3,000 SKUs, and broadens its catalog beyond heavy-duty, giving customers access to new innovations that support mixed fleets. Dayton reported Tuesday it is in the process of stocking its U.S. and Canadian distribution centers with the medium-duty SKUs, and also is aggressively adding the components to its online ordering platforms.

Dayton also used HDAW to support its new digital platform as a solutions-driven tool. Launched in October, the platform helps customers research, find and order quality parts to streamline operations and support fleet productivity.
“HDAW gives us the opportunity to show how our business is evolving, including our expansion into medium-duty, while spending time with the people who rely on our parts every day,” says Mike Capko, product management director for Dayton Parts. “Those conversations reinforce our focus on building reliable solutions backed by service, innovation and engineering to meet customer needs.”
