Safety device for rear-end trailer accidents

InventHelp announces an inventor in Florida has developed a product to prevent a motor vehicle from being crushed beneath the back of a commercial trailer on impact during a rear-end collision.

InventHelp says the product eliminates the need to pick up the trailer to remove a car from underneath after a crash. As such, it improves safety for truck drivers who pull large commercial trailers and for motorists traveling behind them.

InventHelp says the product also reduces the cost of trailer repairs by absorbing the impact of collisions, and simple design minimizes production costs.

The inventor was inspired to create the product because he was tired of repairing or replacing ICC bars while working as a fleet technician, InventHelp says.

“I realized the better way to go was to redesign the bar to withstand the force of a collision without bending,” he says.

The product is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers. For more information, call 412-288-1300 ext. 1368.
