Jasper Engines & Transmissions has announced the expanded availability of rear differentials for late-model Ford Transit vans.
These differentials, previously available for models from 2015 to 2019, now extend up to 2023.
For the 9.75 Single Rear Wheel, options are: 2015-2023 3.73 (Standard); 2015-2023 3.73 (Limited Slip); 2015-2023 4.10 (Standard); and 2015-2023 4.10 (Limited Slip).
For the 9.75 Dual Rear Wheel, options are: 2015-2023 3.73 (Standard); 2015-2023 3.73 (Limited Slip); 2015-2023 4.10 (Standard); and 2015-2023 4.10 (Limited Slip).
The company states each remanufactured differential undergoes an extensive "Do It Right" process that ensures worry-free operation. This includes:
- Disassembly and thorough cleaning of the differential housing.
- Critical inspection of all areas of the housing, along with gear inspection at multiple points throughout the remanufacturing process.
- Installation of new parts, including bearings, gaskets, O-rings, seals and thrust washers.
- Pinion bearings are preloaded to specifications, with ring and pinion gears replaced only in matched sets.
- Precise measurement of runout, along with inspection for correct backlash clearance and exact adjustments of tooth contact pattern.
- Four quarts of 75W-140 gear oil included.
Additionally, Jasper says the Ford 9.75 differential is covered by a nationwide, transferable, warranty of up to 3-years/100,000-miles parts and labor.
