Utility Trailer and Cargobull North America announced a new transport refrigeration unit (TRU) on Wednesday.
The 625 and 655MT Hybrid TRUs now come standard with advanced microchannel condensers and radiators that improve performance and integrate easily into the unit, improving airflow and system layout, the companies say. The new condenser also reduces refrigerant charge by three pounds and also results in lesser upfront and replacement costs.

"The microchannel condenser boosts thermal efficiency, ensuring our 3000R refrigerated trailers maintain peak cooling performance even in high ambient temperatures," says Steve Bennett, president and COO for Utility Trailer. "Its ability to perform reliably in extreme conditions is essential for continuous refrigeration."
Both units are certified by the California Air Resources Board (CABR) as Ultra-Low Emission TRU (ULETRU) Evergreen models. They are available on Utility Trailer 3000R refrigerated trailers.
The Cargobull 620 Hybrid (Single-Temp) TRU does not fully meet ULETRU certification criteria. Embedded shore power can be added as an optional feature.
