FTG, Inc. releases its now Hot STK diesel fuel tank heater solution for mobile and stationary equipment operators.
According to FTG, the HS Series helps customers save time and money with a durable in-tank hot coolant/cold fuel heat exchanger.
“It heats diesel fuel using hot engine coolant two-ways: the fuel in the tank and as it flows from the tank,” says Pino Pathak, president of FTG. “It helps to keep diesel engines running in colder conditions.”
FTG says there is virtually no maintenance requirements for the heaters, and that the units are constructed from durable 6061 T6 aluminum, which anodized red for appearance and added corrosion protection.
FTG also says the thermostat on the ACV versions is set for 95˚F maximum fuel at outlet offering automatic control. The heaters have standard 5-hole SAE mounting with models to fit 10 in. to 32. in. tank diameter/depth tanks in 1 in. increments.
