World American says the system is designed to fight wheel and wheel stud damage, which aids in the prevention of unpredictable “wheel off” emergencies. It is designed specifically for Class 7 and 8 tractors and trailers, and any vehicle that uses M22x1.5 two-piece wheel nuts.
World American says the system works with steer, drive and trailer axles at 6 mm and 19 mm, and drive and trailer axles at 28 mm and 39 mm sleeves. The system also engages both dual wheels, protects and covers threads from wear, maintains torque much longer than standard wheel nuts, the company says.
