Kinedyne unveiling new slider systems at MATS

Kinedyne, LLC, introduces its new Kin-Sider and Kin-Slider systems to the U.S. trucking industry at the 2016 Mid-America Trucking Show (MATS) this week in Louisville, Ky.

According to Kinedyne, the Kin-Sider employs familiar fasteners at the bottom of the curtain side and features a revolutionary latching approach that enables the curtain to be effortlessly opened and closed within seconds.

In designing its new Kin-Sider and Kin-Slider systems, Kinedyne says it focused on addressing weaknesses such as single-point latching, moisture intrusion, mechanical failure, graphic fading and fungal growth that have often plagued existing curtain-side systems. Kinedyne engineered out the shortcomings of other systems, while engineering in a higher degree of performance at every level.

In the case of the Kin-Slider, Kinedyne also tackled speed of operation and ease of use issues that can impact those who need to open and close their curtain sides frequently, the company says.

“Everything from our moisture seals to our closure mechanisms to our curtain roller design and graphic integrity protection system has been carefully designed for optimal performance and longevity,” says Paul Wolford, vice president of sales and marketing for Kinedyne. “And when it comes to sheer efficiency of operation, the speed of the Kin-Slider is a game-changing technology that is going to impress management and drivers alike.”

Kinedyne says the sliders also are structurally and mechanically sound, evidenced by the use of high-strength aluminum, cast bronze, high-quality rubber seals and curtain rollers made with rugged N6 nylon covers over sealed bearings. When closed, the Kin-Sider and Kin-Slider systems are hermetically sealed, and when open, their curtains slide flawlessly. The systems are easy to maintain and are safe to be cleaned at any standard commercial truck wash, the company says.
