Dayton Parts is now offering a full line made in the USA trailer air tanks. Dayton says the new line complements the company’s current air product offering and emphasizes its continuing dedication toward offering new, value-added products to meet the ever increasing industry demand.
Dayton says each tank comes individually boxed, allowing for easy identification, storage and showroom presentation. The tanks are available in sizes 8 in, 9.5 in. and 12 in sizes, and range from 1425 to 2850 cubic in. capacities.
Additionally, the product line offers full coverage in both ‘frown’ and ‘smile’ mounting styles and are rigorously tested for performance mile after mile. Dayton says they meet SAE J10 and FMVSS 121 specifications and have maximum working pressure of 150 PSI. All tanks are treated with a rust resistance coating both inside and out that includes three stages of pretreatment for 500 hours of salt spray resistance, and each tank is submerged in water and tested under pressure prior to shipping to ensure there aren’t any air leaks during operation, the company says.
