Dayton Parts debuts king pin kits

Dayton Parts introduces TRUEFIT PLUS king pin sets to its extensive steering product line.

Dayton says TRUEFIT PLUS, or “no ream” king pin sets, combine the fitment of the reamed king pin installation with the benefit of reduced installation downtime. All kits include bi-metal bronze bushing that are engineered perfectly to match the king pin – taking the guesswork out of properly reaming your components.  Eighteen part numbers make up the initial offering, the company says.

The TRUEFIT PLUS series of king pin sets also offer the most economical matched fitment of king pin and bushing, without the added cost of reaming. Dayton says since the bushing is engineered to match the king pin, customers have proper fit even if the king pin bore has small imperfections.

“All these features are designed to give you the performance of a standard bi-metal king pin set while getting you back on the road quickly, saving you both time and money,” says Dan Young product Manger Dayton Parts.

The company says the program is available now in the U.S. and Dec. 4, 2016, in Canada.
