Dana Incorporated and VIPAR Heavy Duty have announced a new distribution agreement.
According to Dana, the agreement will expand access to Dana’s portfolio of trusted commercial vehicle products across the VIPAR Heavy Duty Family of Companies network, strengthening product availability for distributors, fleets, repair facilities and other aftermarket customers throughout North America. The partnership represents one of Dana’s most significant commercial vehicle distribution expansions in recent years and reinforces the company’s ongoing investment in delivering industry-leading replacement parts where customers need them most.
“Our focus is on making it easier for customers to access the trusted brands they rely on,” says Bill Nunnery, senior director, Aftermarket, Americas region at Dana Incorporated. “This agreement significantly expands the reach of our commercial vehicle aftermarket portfolio while strengthening our ability to support distributors and service providers across North America with the quality, availability and technical expertise they expect from Dana.”
The agreement includes Dana’s industry-leading commercial vehicle aftermarket brands, with a primary focus on Spicer drivetrain products and the growing Victor Reinz portfolio of commercial vehicle sealing solutions, including gaskets. While Dana’s broader aftermarket portfolio also will be available through the network, commercial vehicle products remain the primary focus of the partnership.

As demand for high-quality replacement parts continues to grow, the agreement also represents an important milestone for the expansion of Victor Reinz products within the commercial vehicle aftermarket. Already recognized globally for OE quality sealing technologies, Victor Reinz continues to build its presence in the heavy-duty segment through increased availability and customer access.
Through the agreement, Dana states it expects to expand its commercial vehicle aftermarket footprint to more than 850 locations across the U.S. and Canada, with plans to expand the VIPAR Heavy Duty member network to Mexico and South America, helping improve product accessibility and service for customers throughout the region.
“Dana is a natural fit for VIPAR Heavy Duty, bringing together industry-leading brands, deep OEM expertise, comprehensive heavy-duty product solutions, fleet-focused innovation, and trusted technical support,” says Larry Griffin, VIPAR Heavy Duty vice president of program management. “This partnership creates exciting opportunities for VIPAR Heavy Duty and Power Heavy Duty distributors to deliver even greater value to fleets and repair facilities while expanding growth across critical categories including driveline, axle, wheel-end and sealing solutions. Together, VIPAR Heavy Duty and Dana are well-positioned to drive performance, reliability and long-term success throughout the heavy-duty aftermarket.”
To support distributor locations, Dana reports it also is developing point-of-sale materials and branded product displays that showcase its commercial vehicle product portfolio within participating stores. Combined with Dana’s industry-leading training programs, these resources will enhance product knowledge, strengthen brand visibility, and drive customer engagement across the network, the company says.
