
The plant in Marion, Ark., employs 1,300 workers. Hino announced in July 2024 its intent to close the facility by 2027, citing increased challenges at achieving profitability in the parts business.
The facility produces side rails and engine rods for medium- and heavy-duty diesel trucks, as well as axles, knuckles and suspension components for select Toyota automobiles.
Maynards will lead the liquidation sale. The company claims to be a global leader in industrial asset liquidation and valuation.
According to the Arkansas Delta Informer, the facility has more than 563,000 sq.-ft., of manufacturing and office space. The auction is expected to feature more than $450 million worth in equipment.
