TravelCenters of America and the NATSO Foundation equipped TA Truck Service roadside assistance vehicles with HAAS Alert Safety Cloud digital alerting program.

The platform shows slow down and move over alerts to oncoming drivers when a roadside assistance vehicle activates its flashing lights and is stopped alongside a roadway. The alerts are sent to drivers using navigation apps such as Waze and Apple Maps and through the infotainment screens of 2018 and newer Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge and Ram vehicles.

The NATSO Foundation and HAAS Alert partnered in 2023 to enhance safety for the industry's roadside service technicians. The NATSO Foundation hopes to spread HAAS Alert with the nation's network of truck stop and travel center locations.
