Photos Of Damaged Air Lines And Rusted Air Line FittingsPhillips Industries this week released its September edition of Tech Tips, which addresses air line inspection and replacement.

Phillips Industries states, with winter months approaching, air lines should be inspected for damage. That said, “component replacement is not only for the winter months, it can apply all year round.”

Phillips Industries suggests air lines be inspected regularly and replaced annually or when they have been damaged. If cables or handles are color coded, install them with their correlating connections, and always remove the old fitting from the tractor protection valve and install the new fitting attached to the new air lines.
