NEXIQ Technologies announced this week the pending release of an enhanced Allison Transmission Suite. The application, which is set to become available next month, operates on the Pro-Link iQ diagnostic scan tool for heavy-duty vehicles.
The upgraded suite will provide diagnostic coverage for Allison GEN IV (1K /2K and 3K/ 4K) transmissions. Technicians will also have new access to GEN IV parameters and have the ability to complete an assortment of special tests for GEN IV transmissions.

• Allison World Transmission Electronic Control (WTEC) systems (3K / 4K)
• Allison Commercial Electronic Control (CEC 1) systems (both on highway and off highway)
