PTI has graduated over 1,000 certified Peterbilt service technicians in its three key geographic locations in Nashville, Chicago and Dallas-Fort Worth. Recruitment for the new Denver campus is now underway with classes expected to start Fall 2024, the company says.
“In 2023, PTI established a partnership with Lincoln Tech to enhance and expand service technician training opportunities geographically. The Denver location is another access point to train service technicians and increase the number of candidates available to join the Peterbilt dealer network and provide crucial skills to support Peterbilt customers,” says Danny Landholm, Peterbilt director of dealer network development.
The program leverages a learning approach that combines classroom and hands-on training to build practical experience. It emphasizes teamwork to enhance communication skills and incorporates web-based skill-building activities to ensure technicians possess comprehensive technical knowledge, enabling them to excel and deliver maximum uptime for Peterbilt customers.
