
Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems set training sessions for July and August. The sessions will be held in California, Michigan, Nevada and virtually.
There are two classes, the three-day air brake training class covers the description, operation and service elements for the total range of components found within dual air brake systems. The two-day advanced technology training class picks up where the air brake class ends, covering the operation and troubleshooting of higher-level driver assistance and safety systems and diagnostic software.

The air brake class will include fundamentals of compressed air, tactics for air system failure mode diagnosis and troubleshooting as well as air brake system and foundation brake components. It will also provide an introduction to Bendix's Global Scalable Brake Control electronic braking system as well as Bendix Global Scalable Air Treatment.
It will be offered:
- July7-9 in San Marcos, Calif., at Palomar College, 1140 West Mission Road, AA-134A.
- July 14-16, virtual class 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Eastern.
- July 21-23 in Owosso, Mich., at the Auto/Diesel Institute of Michigan, Baker College, 1400 M-52.
- July 28-30 in Reno, Nev., at Truckee Meadows Community College, 475 Edison Way.
The more advanced class includes in-depth, hands-on maintenance for Bendix air disc brakes and electrical diagnostics, including antilock braking systems, the AutoVue lane departure warning system from Bendix, Bendix's ESP electronic stability program full stability technology, Bendix Wingman Advanced collision mitigation technology, Bendix Wingman Fusion driver assistance system, SmarTire and SmarTire Trailer-Link tire pressure monitoring systems, and Bendix Global Scalable Brake electronic braking system and Bendix Global Scalable Air Treatment.
The advanced calls will be offered:
- Aug. 11-12 in Reno, Nev., at Truckee Meadows Community College, 475 Edison Way.

Registrants in either class may take a written test at the end of each class. Bendix will grade the exam and registrants who passed will receive a tested and passed certificate. Those who take the exam and don't pass will recieve a certificate of completion along with registrants who don't take part in the testing.
