We've reached the top. As we put a bow on 2024 we are excited to conclude our TPS top products countdown. This year's program featured four new participants, three companies who have previously earned top product honors and three companies who have been recognized on our list but never ascended to the top.

Until now.

Today we welcome a new company to the ranks of businesses that have graced the No. 1 spot in our annual countdown.

SAF-Holland is our newest honoree. The company finishes atop our 2024 list thanks for its March announcement of new Automatic Brake Adjusters (ABA) and Ride Height Control Valves (HCV) in its Midland all-makes program. This is the company's third appearance in the 11-year history of our countdown, having previously finished fourth in 2021 and sixth in 2016.

SAF-Holland's new ABA and HCV products

In releasing its new products in March, SAF-Holland stated the new ABA components include clearance and stroke-sensing offerings and universal fit designs for a wide range of applications. Coverage for steer, drive, and trailer applications targets the most recognized types of ABA in the industry, including Bendix, Crewson, Gunite, and Meritor. In addition, both clevis kits and installation templates are available, the company says.

Additionally, in adding the HCV line, the company reports Midland now has direct replacements for industry-recognized brands like Hadley and Barksdale.
