OTC on Wednesday released the TR2010 20-ton 10 in., wide Truck Loading Ramps and TR2016 20-ton 16 in., Wide Truck Loading Ramps, designed for heavy-duty vehicle servicing.
According to OTC, both loading ramps are ideal for servicing most mid-to large- sized heavy-duty vehicles, with the TR2010 intended for semi-trucks, tractor-trailers and other heavy-duty vehicles with wheel widths of less than 10 in., while the TR2016 is best used for cement trucks, dump trucks, garbage trucks and other vehicles for wheel widths less than 16 in. Both ramps have a height of 9.25 in., to safely elevate heavy-duty vehicles for undercarriage inspection and service, the company says.
Both ramps offer a 20-ton lift capacity and feature a 33 in., retractable T-handle for effortless maneuverability. Each product is fitted with durable, 5 in., heavy-duty wheels that raise and recess the ramp, which OTC states facilitates smooth transitions between navigating the shop floor and positioning underneath the vehicle. Additionally, the ramps are equipped with non-skid rubber matting to enhance safety and prevent slippage when loading and unloading, the company says.
