The update also covers Detroit and Ford engines through MY 2024, Freightliner Cascadia body and chassis models, and Eaton and Paccar transmissions.

“Commercial vehicle repair operations count on eTechnician software for comprehensive diagnostic support and with the 2.12 update, the PC-based solution once again delivers,” says David Shock, NEXIQ Technologies product manager. “In addition to supporting a wide range of PACCAR MX EPA ‘17 and EPA ’21 engines, the update also includes DPF and SCR aftertreatment tests, fuel system tests and engine performance tests. It’s also important to note that eTechnician 2.12 provides technicians with tests to clear aftertreatment derates once repairs have been completed.”

The Ford commercial vehicle support includes 2022-2024 F-Series trucks, E-series vans and Transit and Transit Connect. Freightliner body and chassis fault codes and parameters from 2013-2024 are included, as are support for the transmission control module, central gateway, maintenance system and more.
