Noregon has kicked off March with a bang. The company on Monday introduced ShopPulse, an addition to its shop management software application, and announced it has joined Geotab's newly expanded Order Now program.
Noregon says ShopPulse will join other popular Noregon solutions, such as JPRO and NextStep Repair, as available solutions to help improve the maintenance, service and upkeep of commercial vehicles and heavy-duty equipment.
“We are so excited to offer shops a simple way to be more efficient at every level of their business and reduce some of the inevitable mistakes caused by manual processes,” says Dr. Jessica O’Sullivan, Noregon’s vice president of product management. “One of the features that pilot customers really appreciate is the integration with our diagnostic tool, JPRO. They can pull vehicle and fault details directly into a work order and automatically create jobs for better communication with customers, improved accuracy, and secure record keeping.”
“Technicians want to fix trucks, not manually write out work orders or count parts on hand. With ShopPulse they can focus on the tasks that cut down on dwell time and get trucks back on the road,” O’Sullivan says.
Noregon notes the web-based application is optimized for laptops and tablets, making it convenient for all team members in a shop. New customers receive dedicated assistance from Noregon’s U.S.-based onboarding and training specialists. These specialists help configure the application to align with the shop’s specific processes and also provide two days of hands-on training.
ShopPulse is currently available in the United States with plans to expand the offering to Canada.
Geotab partnership
Regarding its joining of Geotab's newly expanded Order Now program, Noregon says the move will offer fleets with an easier way to access and purchase a curated range of software solutions from the Geotab Marketplace.
By participating in the expanded Order Now program, Noregon states it simplifies the path for fleets to adopt its remote diagnostic software, TripVision. This streamlined process helps ensure a smooth experience for customers, allowing them to expand the capabilities of their Geotab solution with minimal effort.
“Noregon is proud to join Geotab’s Order Now program and make it easier than ever for customers to add TripVision’s powerful remote diagnostics to their Geotab platform,“ says Sandeep Kar, chief strategy officer at Noregon. “We are excited to continue collaborating with Geotab to meet our shared vision of improving safety and reducing downtime for commercial fleets.”
TripVision monitors all makes and models of heavy-duty vehicles and alerts users to issues that affect health, safety, and performance. Users can quickly make impactful business decisions with its built-in action plans, effect on component descriptions, and expert recommendations, Noregon says.
“Expanding Order Now to include software solutions like TripVision reflects Geotab’s commitment to providing businesses with choice, flexibility, and confidence,” adds Robin Kinsey, associate vice president, Marketplace at Geotab. “This evolution simplifies the purchasing process and empowers fleets to enhance their operations with the right solutions.”
The Order Now program is designed to streamline procurement and strengthen collaboration between Geotab, its Reseller Partners, and Marketplace solution providers. By adding software solutions into the program, Geotab provides customers greater access to innovative tools that complement their fleet operations, the company notes.
