Orders placed by Dec. 15, receive a 5% discount and guaranteed delivery by year-end – especially important for 2018 and older TRU units, which require a DPF by the end of 2025 to meet CARB regulations or will be subject to significant fines.

Rypos Inc., a designer and manufacturer of active diesel particulate filters (DPFs), has expanded its product lineup with a solution for Carrier Vector trailer refrigeration units (TRUs). With this launch, Rypos now offers retrofit DPF systems for most TRUs on the market.

The expanded Vector product offers the same performance as Rypos’ Carrier X4 solution, reducing particulate emissions by over 90% and helping fleets achieve CARB (California Air Resources Board) compliance and sustainability goals without needing unit replacements, the company said.

Rypos Vector DPFs can be installed in 4-6 hours and do not require extended downtime, additional fuel burn or lengthy post-installation testing. Fleets benefit from minimal disruption to operations and significantly lower total cost of ownership.
