Grote Industries debuted two new safety technologies at the American Trucking Associations' Management Conference & Exhibition in San Diego.
"Safety is the cornerstone of everything we do at Grote Industries," says Dominic Grote, president and CEO. "The need for advanced commercial vehicle safety solutions is growing as fleets face tighter FMCSA expectations and the very real risks of roadside and rear-end collisions. H.E.L.P. DeliverSAFE and the 4SEE Rear-Collision Warning System directly address those risks, giving fleets practical, proactive tools that help protect drivers and reduce crashes."
The first, the H.E.L.P. Deliver SAFE, is available as a stand-alone smart trailer solution or as part of the 4SEE system. It helps prevent crashes by warning oncoming motorists of dangers on the road ahead with digital notifications and conspicuous lighting, Grote says.
It uses a regulatory compliant, behaviorally optimized rapid flash patter to raise awareness, with additional lights to create visual contrast and synchronized flashing to clearly outline the vehicle. It also delivers real-time notifications with exact location directly to oncoming drivers' navigation apps and in-cab displays.

Grote says the system makes trailers more visible in high-risk situations and cites a Virginia Tech University study that shows 87% of drivers slowed down or changed lanes when exposed to H.E.L.P. alerts; nearly three times the effectiveness of standard hazard lights.
The 4SEE Rear-Collision Warning System helps mitigate rear-end collisions, which account for 29% of all commercial vehicle accidents, Grote says. It uses advanced data processing, a rear radar unit and an auxiliary strobe lamp to warn motorists when they're approaching too quickly.
The system uses the 4SEE Digital Harness to ensure secure, wired data transfer and lamp-specific light-out detection. It can also receive over-the-air updates.
"Every advancement we are introducing reflects our commitment to keeping fleets and drivers safer on the road," says Andrew Grose, vice president of Grote Networks. "From roadside visibility with H.E.L.P. DeliverSAFE to collision prevention through our rear collision warning system and smarter digital tools that give fleets real-time insights, these innovations are designed to help operators reduce risk and create safer conditions for everyone who shares the road."
