Bosch’s Mobility Aftermarket division has launched a new line of heavy-duty air disc brake pads. The new line is debuting at the annual Automotive Aftermarket Product Expo (AAPEX) 2025 in Las Vegas.
As the inaugural heavy-duty braking line from Bosch, the company says this represents a significant expansion of the already comprehensive Bosch braking lineup further into the heavy-duty space.
“With our new heavy-duty Air-Disc pads, Bosch brings the same OE-level engineering, material quality and better-than-OE performance our customers expect from our company,” says Bradley Reedy, product manager, brakes at Bosch Mobility Aftermarket. “These pads were developed with real-world heavy-duty applications and common problems in mind, ensuring consistent performance in even the toughest operating environments.”
The new air disc pads from Bosch extend its proven braking technology to Class 6-8 vehicles, joining an established lineup of heavy-duty products including diesel systems, diagnostics, tools and equipment.

- Bosch Long Haul is designed to meet demand for tractor trailer applications and more with high quality in mind.
- Bosch Severe Service HD is optimized for refuse, bus, and other heavy-duty applications to withstand the high heat generated by frequent braking under heavy loads.
Bosch says each brake pad set contains four pads and a hardware kit — the full brake job in a box. The pads deliver mileage that meets or exceeds original equipment (OE) quality, offering a longer product lifespan. Additionally, each pad is rigorously tested to meet Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (FMVSS) 121, ensuring advanced friction stability and reliable braking performance across a wide range of payloads, temperatures and driving conditions.
“The launch of our Air-Disc brake pads represents continued expansion by Bosch in the aftermarket,” says Thu Teesdale, director of product management at Bosch Mobility Aftermarket. “We’ve been a leader in the braking space for nearly a century, and we can now extend that same reliability and performance into our heavy-duty portfolio – giving fleet owners, technicians and distributors a trusted partner they can turn to for every part of vehicle servicing.”
