Continental Tire is expanding its retread lineup with a new durable regional retread, the ContiTread HDR 5. The new tire has a five-rib tread pattern for even wear and an open shoulder for better traction.

"Regional fleets need tires that perform consistently across a wide range of conditions," says Shaun Uys, vice president of sales and marketing, Truck Tire RE USA. "The ContiTread HDR 5 was engineered to provide predictable handling, dependable traction and the durability fleets rely on to keep vehicles moving and costs under control."
The new tire will be available in 210, 220, 230 and 240 widths with a 25/32 tread depth.
