Fleet Advantage CEO finalist for Entrepreneur of the Year

Ernst & Young LLP has announced Fleet Advantage CEO John Flynn is a finalist in the “Emerging” category of the company’s awards competition, Ernst & Young ‘Entrepreneur of the Year’ 2011. According to the company, this program recognizes entrepreneurs who demonstrate excellence and extraordinary success in such areas as innovation, financial performance and personal commitment to their businesses and communities.

Flynn was selected as a finalist from nearly 100 nominations by a panel of independent judges, Ernst & Young says. Florida award recipients will be announced Thursday, June 16 at the Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate.

“Our goal is to help private fleet operators of Class 8 trucks achieve a competitive advantage and lower overall costs through a continuous improvement model that promotes economic, environmental and social sustainability,” says Flynn.

Regional award recipients are eligible for consideration for the national award. Award recipients in several national categories, as well as the ‘Entrepreneur of the Year’ overall national award winner, will be announced at an awards program in November. The awards are the culminating event of the Ernst & Young Strategic Growth Forum, held Nov. 9-13, 2011.

The Ernst & Young ‘Entrepreneur of the Year’ program recognizes business leaders in more than 140 cities and more than 50 countries throughout the world.
