Gabriel offers new heavy-duty smartphone part search

Gabriel (Ride Control, LLC) announces the enhancement of its mobile part search with the addition of an all-new mobile Smartphone part search for commercial, heavy-duty truck, trailer, or bus shocks.

“No one comes close to Gabriel’s commercial OE replacement coverage as it exceeds the closest competitor by 43 percent. With new parts being introduced all the time, the Gabriel heavy-duty mobile part search is another way Gabriel conveniently provides customers with the most current product information where and when they need it,” says Lisa Bahash, president and CEO Gabriel (Ride Control, LLC).

Gabriel’s Smartphone search for heavy-duty vehicle shocks works identically to its full website search, allowing the customer to seek parts by make, series, OEM or Gabriel part number, or by competitor part number. It is available by accessing the Gabriel website (Gabriel.com) from most Smartphones. With the first click, results and photos appear showing available Gabriel Fleetline products and Gabriel GasSLX premium gas-cell design upgrade products, where available. With a second click on the selected item, a detailed product description with specifications, mounting information, and “where used” listings appear.

When customers access www.Gabriel.com from most Smartphones, the website senses this and automatically pulls up the Gabriel mobile part search, which has been optimized for viewability and usage ease for all iPhone, newer Blackberry and Droid platforms, the company says. Customers then chose either the light vehicle search or the heavy-duty search, or proceed to the full website. The mobile part search even includes a pop-up option to create an “app” icon on the customer’s Smartphone for quick future mobile part search access.

For additional questions on a specific product, the search quickly links customers to the Gabriel Answerman phone line for one-on-one answers and solutions.
