Marangoni Tread North America (MTNA) is celebrating the 40th anniversary of Ringtread technology.
The Ringtread was introduced by Marangoni and designed to combine the best features from mold cure technology, which means no splice, double contour round shape, and precision control of dimensions, with precure tread manufacturing.
The first Ringtread was manufactured on April 27, 1976, in Ferentino, Italy.
The American made Ringtread was first manufactured at the Madison, Tenn., facility on April 27, 2004. Since then, Marangoni Tread North America has produced and sold millions of rings and as a result has achieved a 5 percent market share within the North American market.
