Ancra announced this week some of its winches have been upgraded with an extended width pawl to improve the grip area used to lift the pawl out of engagement with the sprocket.
According to Ancra, the extended pawl helps to minimize potential pinch points between latch pawl and sprocket when releasing tension in the winch strap.
The following winches have been upgraded with the new pawl feature and are in inventory and now available:
- 49207-137: Standard Double L Track Slider
- 49207-137-XZ: Standard Double L Track Slider
- 41681-10: Standard Bottom Mount
- 48101-103: 3-Bar Weld-on Side Mount
