Air-Weigh is making it easier for customers to add on-board weighing technology to new vocational vehicles through an expanded agreement with Fontaine Modification.
Fontaine Modification Medium & Heavy Truck Operations will now install Air-Weigh LoadMaxx on-board scales on a wider range of vehicle applications and suspension types at its nationwide network of modification centers. Installation is seamless to dealers and end-users thanks to Fontaine’s extensive ship-thru agreements with leading truck OEMs, the company says.
"This is a great expanded relationship that now allows end users and dealers in the on-highway/severe service/heavy haul, and medium duty market that use air or spring/mechanical suspensions to get an on-board scale solution on their new vehicle," says Gordon Virginski, Air-Weigh director of business development.
Air-Weigh says LoadMaxx is a complete all-in-one on-board scale solution, displaying Steer, Drive, Trailer, GVW and Net Payload weights automatically in the cab without the need for driver interaction. LoadMaxx displays real-time weight data when you need it, with advanced communication abilities and integration with third-party telematics partners. Featuring PIN protected calibration and compensation for temperature and altitude, LoadMaxx is accurate and durable for any application.
