
Eaton opened its portfolio of switches, circuit protection and power distribution solutions for commercial vehicles to aftermarket customers. The company says the decision is part of a commitment to addressing the growing demand for efficient electrical power management solutions in an evolving aftermarket.

"Expanding access to our aftermarket portfolio allows us to provide customers with innovative, durable and adaptable power management solutions," says Leandro Girardi, director of the aftermarket for Eaton Mobility Group. "Eaton's solutions are engineered to meet the rigorous demands of modern transportation and industrial markets."
Some of the solutions now available include:
- Fuses, circuit breakers, junction blocks, fuse boxes with direct wire and J1939 compatibility.
- DC/DC power converters and battery equalizers and inverters with power levels ranging from 70W to 3kW and durable packaging designed for harsh conditions.
- Vehicle control solutions in traditional or multiplexed configurations, including electromechanical toggle, push-button and sealed rocker switches with J1939 keypads and electronic switch modules.
"(The solutions) emphasize innovation, reliability and customization, providing customers with the tools to address complex electrical challenges," Girardi says.
