Noregon Monday announced the addition of interactive wiring diagrams as part of the latest JPRO update.

According to Noregon, technicians can now click on wires and trace them through the schematic, or search within the diagram for specific sensors, relays, wires, and other labeled items using Fault Guidance – JPRO’s embedded troubleshooting module.

“Technicians have long benefited from the full-color wiring diagrams in JPRO, but because so many advanced systems communicate on the vehicle, interactive diagrams have become a critical tool for troubleshooting in a timely manner,” says Jason Hedman, Noregon product manager

Additionally, because JPRO is known for its user-friendly approach to diagnostics. Hedman says, “Technicians’ time is too valuable to be spent flipping through paper schematics or manually tracing wires. This new feature lets them search for a specific sensor, zoom in, and trace a wire from point A to point B. That way techs can get the information they need and get back to doing what they do best; fixing vehicles.”

Noregon says the latest JPRO update also offers new coverage and bi-directional tests for a variety of manufacturers including Detroit Diesel, Paccar, GM, and more. JPRO users can download the latest update directly from their software, by visiting Noregon.com, or contacting Noregon’s US-based product experts at 855-889-5776.
