
Mack Trucks introduces “Beyond the Bulldog,” a new podcast delivering industry expertise, insider knowledge and valuable insights through engaging storytelling for trucking professionals and enthusiasts.
The first two episodes of “Beyond the Bulldog” just launched on YouTube, with new episodes releasing weekly. Following the initial YouTube launch, the podcast will soon be available on major podcast platforms.
“‘Beyond the Bulldog’ is designed to create even stronger connections with our customers, while delivering content that’s both entertaining and informative,” says David Galbraith, vice president of global brand and marketing at Mack Trucks. “Our mission is to deliver an entertaining, informative podcast founded on the brand principles that define Mack Trucks. Mack customers are incredibly loyal to our brand, and this podcast offers another way for us to engage with them in a meaningful and different way.”

Hosted by Brian Wright, the new podcast will feature interviews with industry experts, both from within Mack Trucks and beyond, discussing topics relevant to trucking professionals, fleet operators and Mack enthusiasts.
“Our goal is to tell stories that reflect the fabric of our customer base,” Wright says. “We’ll cover everything from the heritage and history of Mack to practical topics like how to grow from one truck to managing a fleet, handling data and the business side of trucking.”
The first three episodes of “Beyond the Bulldog” will focus on the recently launched Mack Pioneer:
- Mile Marker 1 – Designing the Future: A Conversation with Allen Zadeh: Zadeh, design director, Mack Trucks, discusses exterior design, aerodynamics and interior design for the all-new Mack Pioneer.
- Mile Marker 2 – Built Around the Driver: Comfort & Safety with Scott Sokach: Sokach, senior product manager, Mack Trucks, explains how to create a Mack truck centered around driver comfort and safety.
- Mile Marker 3 – Driving Decisions with Conal Deedy: How Telematics Transforms Fleet Management: Deedy, director of commercial telematics, Mack Trucks, defines telematics and shares how businesses can utilize this information to increase profits, manage routes and properly maintain their Mack trucks.
Mack states future episodes will feature a broader range of topics relevant to the trucking industry, with the podcast’s vision being to create a space where truckers, stakeholders and loyal fans can go to smile, learn and enjoy. Through engaging storytelling under the umbrella of the Mack brand, “Beyond the Bulldog” aims to be the premier audio destination for those passionate about trucking, the company says.
