FlowBelow Aero introduced universal bracketry for its Tractor AeroKit with Flex Fairing. This means it will now fit all makes and models of sleeper cabs and day cabs.

"The universal bracketry represents a significant engineering advancement that opens new opportunities for fleets across diverse applications," says Josh Butler, presidents and chief technology officer at FlowBelow. "We've eliminated the compatibility barriers that previously prevented certain carriers from accessing our fuel-saving technology."

The mounting system also accommodates intermodal chassis applications, which expands FlowBelow's market to include carriers previously unable to use aerodynamic fairings due to landing gear equipment conflicts.

FlowBelow says the bracketry works in conjunction with the company's thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) Flex Fairing material, which bends and returns to its original shape when impacted. This is an automotive-grade material is similar to that used in vehicle bumpers and provides significantly greater flexibility than traditional TPO compounds.

The universal bracketry enhancement supports FlowBelow's five-year, 500,000-mile limited warranty, reflecting the company's confidence in the product's longevity across all applications. FlowBelow says fleets can achieve total savings of 5.88 gallons of fuel for every 1,000 miles driven when the AeroKit with Flex Fairing is combined with the company's AeroFender and Trailer Wheel Covers.
