Truck-Lite's new 34 Series LED marker and clearance lights for specialty trailers are now available for OE trailers manufactured in North America.

The lights are designed and built in three facilities across Pennsylvania and feature a homogeneous glow output design that requires no specialized installation. Truck-Lite says these lights produce uniform output regardless of the viewing angle. They are available for specification on any U.S.-manufactured specialty trailer and are also distributed through Truck-Lite's network of distributors.
"Truck-Lite three-wire products provide auxiliary stop functions, providing the best high-to-low ratio in light output across the industry," Stineman says. "This feature is more critical than most people understand. Truck-Lite's high-to-low ratio allows trailing drivers to recognize the stop function when illuminated more easily than competitive products offering a lower ratio. Stopping distance is a critical safety measure and we are doing everything possible to help drivers visually recognize when the trailer is stopping ahead."

- A polycarbonate lens that Truck-Lite says is 30 times more resilient to impact than acrylic with best-in-class thermal design management.
- Internal circuitry encased in epoxy, providing protection against corrosion, water and vibration.
- A lamp that meets the 180-degree visibility requirement with one lamp instead of two and a hardwired design that Truck-Lite says simplifies retrofitting.
- The 34 Series lights are available in red and yellow, single or dual function, and feature a clear lens option that integrates into the trailer.
