Automann adds Calorstat coolant thermostats, valves

Automann has added Calorstat by Vernet to its product catalog.

Automann has added Calorstat thermostats and valves by Vernet to its catalog, the company said Thursday.

Vernet was founded in 1927 and provides thermal solutions for heavy-duty and automotive sectors. Calorstat offers a suite of premium-grade thermostats, housings, valves, radiator caps, switches and other components for cooling systems.

Automann has more than 50,000 parts across 18 categories. It has eight distribution centers across North America and has been family owned since 1994.

Daimler is moving production of Freightliner and Western Star trucks out of Portland, Ore., where it's made trucks since 1942.
