NHTSA says 22,582 units are potentially affected by the recall.
- Corp. Micro Bird is recalling certain 2008-2024 G5, 2008-2015 MBII, and 2015-2023 T-Series transit buses. The rear emergency door exterior handle may unexpectedly break under applied force. In the event of an emergency, a broken door handle can prevent or delay emergency responders from entering the vehicle, increasing the risk of injury. NHTSA says 794 units are potentially affected by the recall.
- Daimler Trucks North America (DTNA) is recalling certain 2023-2025 Thomas Built Buses Saf-T-Liner C2 and 2024-2025 Thomas Built Buses Saf-T-Liner C2 Jouley school buses. The audible emergency warning alarm sounds may not activate when the emergency hatch or window is open. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 217, "Bus Emergency Exits and Window Retention and Release." An inaudible alarm that fails to warn the driver of an open emergency exit can increase the risk of injury in a crash. NHTSA says 162 units are potentially affected by the recall.
- DTNA is recalling certain 2025 Freightliner Cascadia, 114SD, Western Star 47X, and 49X transit buses equipped with Composolite EXS20 steerable lift axle suspension assemblies. The tie rod assembly ball stud could have been improperly heat treated and can fail. The ball stud can separate from the vehicle becoming a road hazard, increasing the risk of a crash. NHTSA says 60 units are potentially affected by the recall.
- Ford Motor Company is recalling certain 2024 F-150 vehicles. The windshield may not have been properly bonded to the vehicle, allowing it to detach during a crash. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of FMVSS number 212, "Windshield Mounting." A windshield that detaches from a vehicle during a crash can increase the risk of injury. NHTSA says 4,361 units are potentially affected by the recall.
- Ford Motor Company is recalling certain 2025 F-Super Duty F-650 and F-750 vehicles. The front axle tie rod assemblies may contain ball studs that have been incorrectly heat-treated, which can cause them to break, and possibly result in tie rod failure. Tie rod failure can cause a loss of vehicle steering control and increase the risk of a crash. NHTSA says 2,605 units are potentially affected by the recall.
- Forest River is recalling certain 2024-2025 Salem, and Wildwood travel trailers. The affected vehicles may not have a secondary emergency exit installed. In the event of an emergency, passengers may not be able to exit the vehicle, increasing the risk of injury. NHTSA says 573 units are potentially affected by the recall.
- Forest River is recalling certain 2024-2025 Cross Trail motorhomes. The backer on the ladder receiver may not have been installed, which can cause the ladder to detach. A ladder that detaches while in use increases the risk of injury. NHTSA says 126 units are potentially affected by the recall.
- Forest River is recalling certain 2024-2025 Cross Trail motorhomes. The ladder receiver may have been incorrectly installed without the backer, which can cause the ladder to detach. A ladder that detaches while in use increases the risk of injury. NHTSA says 34 units are potentially affected by the recall.
- Mack Trucks is recalling certain 2025 LR, Granite, and Pinnacle vehicles equipped with Composilite EXS20 steerable lift axle suspension assemblies. The tie rod assembly ball stud could have been improperly heat treated and can fail. The ball stud can separate from the vehicle becoming a road hazard, increasing the risk of a crash. NHTSA says 59 units are potentially affected by the recall.
- SEA Electric is recalling certain 2023-2025 SEA Electric 5e, 2020-2022 Ford F59, 2020 Hino 195, and 2019 Isuzu NRR vehicles equipped with certain software versions from December 2022 and earlier. The battery management system (BMS) software can cause the high-voltage battery to shut down, resulting in a loss of drive power. A loss of drive power increases the risk of a crash. NHTSA says 174 units are potentially affected by the recall.
- Volvo Trucks North America is recalling certain 2025 VN and VHD trucks equipped with Composilite EXS20 steerable lift axle suspension assemblies. The tie rod assembly ball stud could have been improperly heat treated and can fail. The ball stud can separate from the vehicle becoming a road hazard, increasing the risk of a crash. NHTSA says 12 units are potentially affected by the recall.
