Safety Recalls

The following safety recalls were issued Monday by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA):

  • Ford Motor Company is recalling certain 2020-2022 F-Super Duty F250, F350, F450, F550, 2021-2022 F600, and 2022 F750 vehicles previously repaired incorrectly under recall number 24V957. Biodiesel deposits may form on the pump drivetrain roller components, which could lead to failure of the high pressure fuel pump. High pressure fuel pump failure can cause a loss of drive power, increasing the risk of a crash. NHTSA says 7,105 units are potentially affected by the recall.
  • General Motors is recalling certain 2018 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, GMC Sierra 1500, 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 2500, Silverado 3500, GMC Sierra 2500, and Sierra 3500 Crew Cab vehicles. The left or right-side roof rail air bag (RRAB) inflator end cap may detach from the inflator or the inflator sidewall may rupture. A detached end cap or inflator rupture can allow compressed gas to escape and project the end cap or fragments of the inflator into the vehicle, increasing the risk of injury. NHTSA says 2,819 units are potentially affected by the recall.
  • International Motors is recalling certain 2023-2027 IC Bus CESB and 2025-2027 IC Bus EVSB school buses. The body panel joint may have been attached without sufficient epoxy coverage. As such these vehicle fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) No. 221, "School Bus Body Joint Strength." The body panels may separate during a crash, reducing structural integrity and increasing the risk of injury. NHTSA says 2,874 units are potentially affected by the recall.
  • Keystone RV Company is recalling certain 2026 Montana fifth wheel recreational trailers. The 12-volt and 120-volt wiring may be improperly secured. The wires may be pinched and damaged when the bedroom slide-out moves. Damaged wiring may cause an electrical fault, increasing the risk of a fire. NHTSA says 74 units are potentially affected by the recall.
  • Winnebago Industries is recalling certain 2017 Brave, 2019 Itasca Sunova, 2019-2022 Adventurer, and 2022 Sunstar motorhomes. The front turn signals may have a smaller than required luminous lens area. As such these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of FMVSS Number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment." A small lens can make it difficult for other drivers to see the turn signal, increasing the risk of a crash. NHTSA says 1,446 units are potentially affected by the recall.
