Mack Trucks is celebrating America’s 250th anniversary with the debut of a limited-edition America 250 tribute truck, a custom-wrapped Mack Pioneer honoring the company’s deep American roots and its longstanding role in helping move the country forward.
Mack says the custom-designed truck pays tribute to the spirit of freedom, strength and pride that has shaped the nation's history. A bold “eagle” flag treatment runs along both sides of the truck, creating the impression of the American flag flying down the road, and the themes “250 Years of Freedom” and “America 250” are featured prominently in recognition of the national milestone, the company says.
Peterbilt also introduced a patriotic truck to celebrate the nation’s 250th in May.
The America 250 tribute truck will be on display at Mack Trucks’ World Headquarters in Greensboro, N.C., throughout the month of July. Drivers traveling along I-40 will be able to see the truck from the highway, and visitors are welcome to stop by Mack’s visitor parking lot to view the truck up close and take photos.
Truck Builder gets patriotic update
To mark the occasion, Mack also added a new patriotic background to its online Truck Builder, allowing customers to set their custom build against a celebratory red, white and blue backdrop.

Mack states the free-to-use tool lets customers design and personalize a Mack Pioneer, Mack Granite, Mack Anthem, Mack Keystone, Mack MD or Mack LR from the ground up, then select the new patriotic background to complete the scene.
