Great Dane company leaders will receive a special proclamation from the Georgia General Assembly this week in honor of the company's 125th anniversary.
Founded in 1900 in Savannah, Ga., Great Dane has long been an industry leader in the transportation business. Its recognition at 10:40 a.m. Thursday in Georgia's Capitol House Chamber will highlight the company's ongoing resilience, pioneering leadership in the transportation industry and long-standing commitment to quality and innovation.
The company notes it is one of only 0.5% of U.S. companies that have remained in business for more than 100 years, and joins a prestigious group of iconic American companies that have also reached this milestone, including Leopold's, Coca-Cola, and Harley-Davidson.
