International Motors has unveiled a new digital platform designed to consolidate fleet management and dealer communications into a single interface, an effort the company says will shift truck ownership from reactive repairs to proactive maintenance.
The platform, My International, functions as a connected ecosystem available via desktop and mobile app. It integrates remote vehicle functions, maintenance tracking, and real-time telematics for fleets, drivers, and dealers.
The tool aims to solve a long-standing industry pain point: the patchwork of disparate portals, vendors, and email chains typically required to manage a commercial fleet. By using factory-installed connectivity and integrating with third-party telematics providers, the system aggregates data into a unified dashboard.
The platform acts as a centralized command center. When a vehicle identifies a mechanical issue, the system alerts the fleet manager, locates the nearest preferred dealer, and facilitates service scheduling. The interface also provides shared visibility into warranty details and repair statuses to reduce communication delays.
Features of the new ecosystem include:
- Remote functionality: Digital lock/unlock capabilities and over-the-air parameter updates for settings like speed limits and idle shutdown.
- Performance analytics: Proprietary fuel reports specifically optimized for the International S13 Integrated Powertrain.
- Health monitoring: Remote diagnostics, vehicle health reporting, and GPS tracking with geofencing.
- Streamlined service: Direct messaging with the International dealer network and visibility into service contracts.
