The following employment announcements were made in the trucking industry the week of Sept. 4, 2023:

Phillips Industries announced Drew Hofley is its new vice president of sales.
Cox Enterprises promotes Jennifer Hightower to executive vice president and chief legal officer.
Carolina International Trucks (CIT) named Kirke Dressler as the service manager for the Charleston location.
David Teolis is now the chief economist at ACT Research. Teolis was formerly the deputy chief economist, international markets, FX and commodities, for General Motors.
