The following employment announcements were made in the trucking industry the week of May 26, 2024:
- Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company's senior vice president and chief human resources officer, Gary VanderLind, will retire effective July 1. Nicole Gray will be his replacement.
- The American Trucking Associations extended President and CEO Chris Spear's contract to 2029.
- The American Transportation Research Institute (ATRI) named two new members to its board of directors. They are Brett Merritt, president of engine business, Cummins, and Harold Sumerford Jr., CEO of J&M Tank Lines.
- Joseph Fadool is the new executive vice president and chief operating officer of BorgWarner, effective July 1.
