Who’s in the news: Our weekly trucking employment report

The following employment announcements were made in the trucking industry the week of May 26, 2024:

Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company's senior vice president and chief human resources officer, Gary VanderLind, will retire effective July 1. Nicole Gray will be his replacement.
The American Trucking Associations extended President and CEO Chris Spear's contract to 2029.
The American Transportation Research Institute (ATRI) named two new members to its board of directors. They are Brett Merritt, president of engine business, Cummins, and Harold Sumerford Jr., CEO of J&M Tank Lines.
Joseph Fadool is the new executive vice president and chief operating officer of BorgWarner, effective July 1.
