Who’s in the news: Our weekly trucking employment report

    The following employment announcements were made in the trucking industry the week of June 3, 2024: 

    • The Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance promoted Denton Lewis to category manager. 
    • Joe Gotmer is the  new president of Fontaine Spray Suppression. 
    • OTR Engineered Solutions named Ben Brown as its new global vice president of sales and marketing, OEM. 
    • Allison Transmission Holdings named G. Frederick (Fred) Bohley III as the new chief operating officer, effective immediately. He will continue to hold his roles as CFO and treasurer. 
    • VIPAR Heavy Duty is adding Northwood University students Ethan Moots and Benjamin Muxlow as summer interns. The duo will spend 10 weeks doing a comprehensive, in-depth and hands-on exploration of the heavy-duty aftermarket.
    • National Association of Wholesaler-Distributors (NAW) has promoted Chris Greiner to vice president of Corporate Development and Natasha Wells as senior vice president of Member Experience.
