The following employment announcements were made in the trucking industry the week of Oct. 7, 2024:
- James Taylor was named general manager of Eaton Cummins Automated Transmission Technologies. He most recently served as the executive director of North America Commercial for Cummins Drivetrain and Braking Systems. Christy Roadknight, formerly of Eaton Mobility Group's Fuel Emissions and Boosting, will be deputy general manager. Genoveva Alba was named chief financial officer. She comes from Eaton's Electrical Sector Americas.
- Model 1 Commercial Vehicles appointed J.R. Sauder president, T.J. Matijevich chief revenue officer and Mark Matijevich chief operations officer.
- Seth Metzger was named senior vice president and chief technology officer at Dana Incorporated. He succeeds Christopher Dominiak, who is retiring.
- Premium Guard Director of Product Management John Etheridge was elected to a two-year term as chairman of the AutoCare Association's Filter Manufacturers Community.
- Hans Molin is the new global head of engineering and chief technology officer for Rand McNally.
