The following employment announcements were made in the trucking industry the week of April 28, 2025.

  • Grote Industries has hired Dan Brito as director of operations at its Madison, Ind., production facility.
  • Amerit Fleet Solutions has appointed Ross Rachey as its new COO.
  • Patrick Biermann, former president of Heavy Duty America and longtime heavy-duty aftermarket leader, has died. He was 75.
  • MEMA announces its president and CEO, Bill Long, will retire on Jan. 3, 2026. In conjunction with Long's retirement, MEMA's board of directors announces the appointment of Paul McCarthy as the new president and CEO, effective Jan. 3, 2026.
  • NTN Bearing Corporation of America announces Pete Eich, president and CEO, will retire on June 1, 2025. Tom Mohrdieck, current vice president of the Industrial OE Business Unit, will assume the role of president and CEO on June 1.
