Who’s in the news: Our weekly trucking employment report

The following employment announcements were made in the trucking industry the week of Aug. 25, 2025:

Kodiak Robotics named Surajit Datta as chief financial officer, effective immediately.
The Timken Company has named Lucian Boldea its president and CEO.
William Larkin has resigned as CFO at Westport; he will be succeeded by Elizabeth Owens.

International is among the OEMs that would be impacted by a 25% tariff on heavy trucks. The global truck maker has a truck assembly plant in Escobedo, Mexico, in additions to its multiple U.S. manufacturing locations.
